This Shared Services Centre based in Lisbon is looking for a Record to Report Team Lead.


The company you're going to work at:

This Shared Services Centre based in Lisbon is looking for a Record to Report Team Lead to report directly to Accounting Manager.

Your new role:

You will report to the Accounting Manager and manage a team of 7, one of the two R2R teams;
Ensure daily and period-end closing R2R activities are adequately and timely performed;
Establish and monitor key metrics to assess team performance and high level of stakeholder satisfaction;
You´ll be a partner with Corporate Accounting and design of R2R policies and processes and drive its implementation;
Ensure compliance with group accounting, reporting policies and internal control system;
Provide technical and accounting guidance and assistance to team members;
Support internal and external audits.
Train new employees, document and review processes with existing team members.

What you need to be successful:

Academic background in accounting or similar area;
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role and multinational environment;
R2R Solid Know-how and understanding of IFRS, Balance Sheet Review, BS Account reconciliation, Month End closing process, etc;
Leadership previous experience;
Continuous improvement mindset and with a hands-on mentality to problem-solving;
Previous Shared Service environment is a plus;
Fluency in English (written and spoken - mandatory);
IT Skills: SAP & Excel (mandatory).
