Your new RoleAs a Solution Owner TMS you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of technology solutions for Transportation Management Systems. This includes Vehicle Route Planning, Strategic, and Tactical Transportation Management. You will ensure these solutions align with HAVI's strategic goals and drive operational excellence.
You will collaborate with the Executive, Senior Leaders and practitioners at HAVI to develop and execute a solution strategy and a roadmap. Your leadership will be crucial ensuring seamless integration and high performance across all levels.
As a Solution Owner TMS you will be responsible for:
Solution Leadership:
Develop and execute strategies for Transportation Management Processes, managing the solution/product life cycle;
Ensure effective solution adoption and user experience at cluster/market levels, supporting Data & Analytics organizations to deliver BI solutions;
Manage Portfolio and Governance, ensuring key project/product deliverables requirements are met;
Operationalize Innovation Solutions in the WMS process area post-incubation and prototyping;
Establish and manage solution metrics, tracking, reporting and driving continuous improvements;
Ensure compliance in line with security policies, collaborating with Information Security.
Financial Management:
Manage solution/product financials and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), working with IT Controlling to budget, forecast, and deliver P&L results;
Ensure financials align with business case outcomes and implement cost control measures;
Optimize Cloud and infrastructure usage with proper tracking, visibility, and control for cost and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Manage Executive and Senior stakeholder expectations, communicating effectively;
Lead and participate in Project/Product Boards to steer product/solution delivery execution;
Align with other Solution Owners to understand interdependencies between solutions and support a consolidated Operations Roadmap (WMS, TMS, and Freight Management).
Team Coordination:
Manage and develop talents, identifying and resolving gaps in skills and resources;
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
What you will need to be succeedAs a Solution Owner TMS you will need:
- 10+ years of experience in IT Product & Service Development;
- 5+ years of experience in strategy development and execution of technology Roadmap in Transportation Management solutions;
- Experience with industry-standard transportation solutions such as Paragon (mandatory), Kewill, Infor, Cargowise, Carlo, etc.;
- Experience with delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, etc.;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse teams;
- Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
