We are looking for a Key Account Manager to drive the growth of our company in the most profitable way. The KAM will be responsible for the direct management of key customers and the functional supervision and support of the Field Sales Force.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement detailed National Account Plans, defining strategies and ensuring all KPIs are achieved. Negotiate customer contracts, including annual negotiations and store investments. Ensure maximum payback on all investments, positively influencing store variables (Weighted Distribution, NPD implementation, Promo Pressure, SOS, Secondary Display, End of Aisle). Visit the largest stores of the customers. Manage a Pricing Strategy that maximises distribution and customer margin. Contribute to setting and achieving the annual sales and margin budget. Manage volume and margin targets on a monthly basis. Monitor and challenge competitors and their customer/product portfolios. Provide monthly forecasts and weekly changes to Demand Planning to ensure high customer service levels. Work closely with Finance to ensure minimum DSO and account receivables reconciliation. Support the third-party Field Sales Force, ensuring the implementation of sales fundamentals in stores.
What You Need to Succeed
Profile: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing (preferably). Fluency in Portuguese and English; knowledge of Spanish is valued. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales within the FMCG sector. Experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing is valued. Preferably some knowledge of the home and personal care industry.
Skills: Results-oriented. High interpersonal skills. Negotiation and planning abilities. Selling skills. Business strategy orientation. P&L management experience. Good communicator with the ability to network and influence across the Retail Matrix (Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, etc.). Strong drive, results-oriented, proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
